Surf’s up: the “surf stones” in these pendants are made with recycled surfboard resin sourced from California.

When surfboards are being made, colorful resin is poured over the board and the excess drips on to the floor. Over time, the layers of resin build up and create hardened chunks of material with layers of gorgeous rainbow colors. Once enough resin is accumulated, the material is pried off the floor and discarded. Resin like this can’t break down and typically would end up sitting in a landfill.
That’s where we come in! Our material is sourced from board shops in California - instead of heading for the landfill, we take these discarded chunks of resin and cut, shape, and polish them in our studio to turn them into wearable pieces of art. Every piece is unique and no two will be exactly the same!
