Vintage Fordite Necklace

This pendant features a genuine vintage Fordite "stone" that has been set in sterling and fine silver. This particular piece is dated to be from around the 40's-50's. 18" inch chain. Pendant measures about 3/4" of an inch in length.

Fordite is layers of hardened automotive paint from the old Detroit car manufacturing plants. The layers condensed over the years and the fordite "stones" have become quite collectable.
